Lesson 3 : Logical Mind Map and Stereotype


Mind mapping was introduced by Tony Buzan has helped people a lot in the process of brainstorming and ideas generation. Mind map can use to explore and develop ideas for a specific problem, use it to think, doodle and see when it takes you, use it to take notes from lectures and to summarize books or stories.

Mind map have so many advantages in doing your works. It will leads you to flow of thoughts and new discoveries. It is a type of visual stimulating makes you easy to remember and accept the information. Besides, it improves your creativity and when you want to recall, it is quite easy for you. We doesn't need any long essay in mind map, Keywords are perfect, so it is also a saving time method. There are 2 types of mind map, one is logical and another is associated. Today we are just talks about the logical mind map. Logical mind map is directly to stereotypes, every words and images put in the mid map is straight related to the main subject through its links.

From the definition in dictionary.com, stereotypes in sociology. a simplified and standardized conception or image invested with special meaning and held in common by members of a group: The cowboy and Indian are American stereotypes. Stereotypes is to give fixed, unvarying form to one subject. Stereotypes have many types, example black stereotypes, white americans stereotypes, asian stereotypes and so on. Sometimes, it can be good and it can be bad as well. The result of stereotypes can lead to misunderstood and wrong circumstances.
